Here's a very brief synopsis of the Installers on Disk 2. For more details check out the Read Me files contained in each of the packages.
Where to Install
---------------
With the exception of the Frontier SDK folder, which must be installed in the same folder as Symantec's Think Project Manager application, you can install these folders where you have disk space. They don't need to be in the Frontier folder.
Frontier Runtime
---------------
Frontier is for people who want to write scripts; Frontier Runtime is for people who want to use them. Frontier Runtime runs all kinds of scripts created with Frontier and acts as a menu sharing server and Apple Event server.
FinderMenu
----------
If you install the FinderMenu 3.0 package, you'll see a new Scripts menu in the Finder's menu bar when Frontier or Frontier Runtime is running. When you pull down the Scripts menu, you see several hierarchic sub-menus, each containing a selection of useful new commands that operate within the Finder environment. Behind each of these commands is a script, implemented as a Frontier script. The Scripts menu was designed using Frontier's outline-based menu editor.
The simple addition of FinderMenu, combined with the scripting power of Frontier, opens up new possibilities for Finder-customizing utilities like nothing ever has. For script writers this is a dream come true because now our scripts can run on the center stage of the Macintosh system –– in the Finder's menu bar. For Macintosh users, it means that lots of new commands are now available in the Finder, and more are on the way!

Frontier SDK

Frontier SDK is collection of sample programs, source code and documentation developed by UserLand Software to help C and Pascal developers take advantage of scripting software such as Frontier. It includes the Menu Sharing Toolkit, IAC Tools, Apple Events 101. It shows how to create an install file for a scriptable application, includes sample UCMDs and XCMDs, a shell for writing a fully Macintosh compatible scriptable application, and the very popular Nerd's Guide to Frontier. And much more... All C source code is included, and any toolkit can be used without a license fee and with no royalty.
